Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actress comedian and singer. Her fame was forged by her role as a guest in the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. She's since starred as an actor in ABC Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto or the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her career at Northwestern University. She initially trained in voice, but then switched to theater when she got involved in the improv comedy group on campus. Her improv-loving spirit carried over into her supporting roles in the roles of Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character from Suburgatory as well as Karen Grisham the eccentric agent on Lady Dynamite.
